Our Story

SIKAF Foundation was born from a simple yet powerful belief: everyone deserves the gift of clear vision. Founded by a team of passionate eye care professionals, volunteers, and community advocates, we recognized a critical need for accessible eye care services in underserved communities across Tanzania.

What started as small-scale outreach programs has grown into a comprehensive organization dedicated to preventing blindness, restoring sight, and empowering communities through education and accessible care. Our journey has been marked by thousands of lives transformed, from children who can now see the blackboard clearly to elders who have regained their independence.

Today, we continue to expand our reach, bringing hope and healing to communities that have long been overlooked. Our work is not just about eye care—it's about restoring dignity, opportunity, and the fundamental right to see the world clearly.
